Where the work began
It started at about eleven years old with my own pet dogs. At eighteen I joined the Army and worked with highly trained Military Working Dogs in high pressure, real world environments. That is where I learned the thing that still shapes how I train: your dog will work as hard as you clearly and appropriately ask them to.
Hundreds of hard cases
After being medically retired from the Army, I became Manager of Operations and Lead Canine Behavior Specialist at Phoenix Dog Training. There, under Will Bangura, I took a masterclass in severe behavior work, helping hundreds of families with everything from severe fear, aggression, and anxiety through to puppy socialization.
Into everyday homes
Now I bring that same clarity, structure, and communication into ordinary living rooms and neighborhoods, helping families turn chaos into calm and frustration into understanding.

Three Things I Do Not Compromise On
Every dog and every household is different, but the way I approach the work does not change.
Results that hold up
I use established behavior science to build reliable results rather than quick fixes that fall apart the moment something changes. If a plan is not working, I change the plan instead of blaming the dog.
Your dog is not confused on purpose
Dogs do well when they understand what is being asked of them. Most of what looks like defiance is a gap in communication, so I teach you how to be understood rather than just how to be obeyed.
Willing beats forced
Learning should be engaging, never forced. I build a setting where your dog wants to work with you instead of one where they are made to, because a dog who is willing keeps working when the pressure is off.
No shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, fear, pain, or intimidation. Not as a marketing position, but because suppressing a behavior does not teach the dog what to do instead.
