Hi, I'm Jordan.
I help Fort Worth dogs and their people understand each other. If walks feel like a fight, the puppy is eating your house, or your dog falls apart around other dogs, I can help. No pressure and no sales pitch. Text me and tell me what's going on.

Three things you can try today
These are real techniques from my sessions, not teasers. Try them this week. They cost you nothing, and they work.
If your dog pulls on leash
The moment the leash goes tight, become a tree. No yank, no scolding, just quiet feet. The walk resumes the second the leash softens. Dogs repeat what works: when pulling never gets them forward, pulling stops paying. Expect one slow, awkward walk. Then expect a better one.
If your puppy bites everything
Swap, don't scold. Keep a chew within reach in every room, and trade it for whatever is in that mouth before you react. Puppies explore the world with their teeth; hand them the right answer. And remember: the 8 pm land shark is usually an overtired puppy. A nap fixes what a lecture never will.
If your dog barks and lunges
Distance is your best friend. Find the range where your dog notices the trigger but can still take a treat, and feed there, every time the trigger appears. You are not rewarding the barking. You are changing what the trigger means. Closer comes later, and it comes faster than you think.
If those made sense to you, we are already speaking the same language.
You're not failing your dog. You're missing a translator.
Maybe walks have turned into a workout you didn't sign up for. Maybe your sweet dog turns into a different animal the second another dog appears across the street. Maybe the puppy everyone said would be fun has the whole house on edge, or your dog panics every time you pick up your keys.
None of that means you have a bad dog, and it doesn't mean you've done something wrong. It means your dog is trying to tell you something and nobody ever showed you how to listen. Behavior is communication. Fear, frustration, and confusion all come out through the leash, the barking, and the chewed-up couch cushion.
That translation is my whole job. I don't train dogs to obey out of pressure. I teach dogs and their people a shared language, and the obedience follows because your dog finally understands what you're asking, and trusts you enough to do it.
Training happens where life happens: your home, your yard, your neighborhood.
I learned this work where it had to be right
I spent my Army years as a dog handler. My partners were dogs whose focus and reliability people's lives depended on, and here is what that experience actually taught me: the strongest working relationships were never built on force. They were built on trust, clear communication, and a handler who understood the dog on the other end of the leash.
That is what I brought home to Fort Worth. Today I run Steller Dog Training and continue my education under Will Bangura, MS, CAB-ICB, one of the country's leading behavior consultants. I work with everyday family dogs: the pullers, the barkers, the anxious ones, the puppies running the household. Science-based methods, no fear, no pain, and no gimmicks.
Mostly, I teach pet parents to see what their dog has been saying all along. That moment when it clicks for both ends of the leash? That's the reason I do this.
No forms. No funnels. Just a conversation.
Text or call me
Tell me what's going on with your dog, in your own words. A sentence or two is plenty. If texting is easier, text. I answer both myself.
We talk it through, free
I'll ask a few questions and give you my honest read, including what you can try on your own. If I don't think you need a trainer, I'll tell you that too.
If it's a fit, we make a plan
A training plan built around your actual dog and your actual life, in your home and your neighborhood, where the problems really happen.
The first conversation costs nothing and decides nothing.
Text (817) 217-8542Tell me what's going on with your dog
One text is enough to get started. Worst case, you get free advice from a professional trainer. Best case, this is the day things start getting better for both of you.
