Aggression, Anxiety & Reactivity Training

Serious help for serious behavior issues, built on proven behavior science, clear communication, and a positive rehab environment.

If your dog is struggling with aggression, reactivity, anxiety, fear, or behavior that feels out of control, you’re not alone… and this is exactly the kind of work we specialize in.

When Life With Your Dog Feels Overwhelming

Living with a dog that growls, lunges, barks, snaps, guards, or panics can take a toll on everything… your home, your routine, your confidence, even your relationship with your dog.

Many owners in this position feel:

  • Frustrated
  • Embarrassed
  • Stressed
  • Like they’re at the end of their rope..
  • And DEFINITELY unsure what to do next

You might feel like you’ve tried everything… and nothing is working.

Your dog is not broken.
And this situation is not hopeless.

We Work With Serious Behavior Issues

We work with a wide range of behavior challenges, including:

  • Dog aggression (on leash, off leash, in the home)
  • Dog-on-Dog Aggression
  • Human-directed aggression (growling, snapping, biting)
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Resource guarding (food, toys, space, people—even small objects)
  • Reactivity (barking, lunging, fixation, overreaction to stimuli)
  • Anxiety and fear-based behavior
  • Overstimulation and inability to settle
  • Barrier frustration (fence fighting, window barking)
  • Stranger danger / territorial behavior
  • Handling sensitivity
  • Dogs that “shut down” or avoid interaction
  • Dogs that escalate quickly and struggle to recover

From moderate issues to severe cases—including bite history—we take on the work that most trainers avoid.

Behavior Modification Isn’t About Control. It’s About Understanding

Behavior modification is not about dominance, intimidation, or forcing a dog into submission.

And it’s not just about stopping behavior in the moment.

Real behavior work focuses on:

  • The emotional state behind the behavior
  • The patterns the dog has learned
  • The environment the dog is operating in
  • The communication between dog and handler

We are not just trying to stop barking, lunging, guarding, or aggression.

We are changing the conditions and patterns that create those behaviors in the first place.

Behavior Problems Don’t Come From Nowhere

Aggression, reactivity, anxiety, and fear-based behaviors are not random.

They can be influenced by:

  • Fear and insecurity
  • Frustration
  • Chronic stress
  • Past experiences
  • Lack of clarity in communication
  • Overexposure or poor socialization
  • Genetics and temperament
  • Reinforced behavior patterns
  • Environmental pressure

Until you understand why a behavior is happening, you can’t effectively change it.

Built on Real-World Experience

My approach to behavior work is grounded in both real-world handling experience and advanced study in behavior modification.

After working as a U.S. Army Military Working Dog Handler, I continued specializing in behavior rehabilitation—studying under Will Bangura at Phoenix Dog Training, where I deepened my understanding of canine behavior, learning theory, and complex case handling.

This combination of:

  • real-world experience
  • structured methodology
  • and behavioral science

allows me to take on cases that many trainers simply won’t.

I PROMISE… YES, WE WILL TAKE ON EVEN YOUR CASE.

Our Approach to Behavior Rehabilitation

This work is built on:

  • Clear communication
  • Recognizable patterns
  • A structured, positive learning environment
  • Real-world application

Dogs thrive on patterns.

When we create consistency and clarity, dogs begin to understand:

  • what works
  • what doesn’t
  • and how to succeed

This is not about forcing behavior.

It’s about building:

  • better decisions
  • better responses
  • and a stronger working relationship

So your dog chooses the right behavior…not just avoids punishment.

We Take the Cases Others Won’t

Many trainers can teach obedience.

Very few are willing, or equipped, to handle:

  • severe aggression
  • bite history
  • complex reactivity
  • intense anxiety cases
  • multi-layered behavioral issues

That’s where we do our best work.

If you’ve been told:

  • “your dog can’t be trained”
  • “this is just how they are”
  • or “we don’t handle cases like that”

You’re exactly who this is for.

What Life Can Look Like After Training

Every case is different, but progress looks like:

  • Walking past triggers without explosive reactions
  • A dog that can settle and relax
  • Safer interactions with people and dogs
  • Reduced anxiety and better recovery
  • Clear communication between you and your dog
  • A home that feels manageable again

Not perfection overnight, but real, measurable change

This Is For You If…

  • Your dog is aggressive, reactive, or unpredictable
  • Walks feel stressful or overwhelming
  • You feel like basic obedience isn’t enough
  • You’re dealing with guarding, fear, or anxiety
  • You’re frustrated and need a real plan
  • You’re ready to put in consistent work
