Fort Worth & All of DFW · In-Home Dog Training

Your Dog Isn't the Problem.

Aggression. Reactivity. Fear. Puppy chaos. These aren't personality flaws, and they aren't your fault. They're behavior with reasons behind it. I look for what's actually driving what you're seeing, then build a plan for your real dog, in your home and neighborhood, where daily life happens.

I answer every text personally, usually the same day: (817) 217-8542

Sound Familiar?

You're not failing your dog. You're missing a translator.

Most "bad behavior" is a dog doing the only thing that has ever worked for them. That can change, and it changes faster than most pet parents believe.

Walks feel like a fight

Pulling like a freight train. Barking and lunging the moment another dog appears. You've started planning routes around who you might run into, and the walk that should be the best part of the day has become the thing you dread.

The puppy is running the house

The biting, the chewing, the 8 pm chaos. Everyone said a puppy would be fun, and instead the whole household is on edge. You don't need more conflicting internet advice. You need a plan that fits your actual puppy.

The fear nobody talks about

Growling at guests. A bite that scared you. Panic every time you leave. You love your dog and you're a little afraid of where this is heading. Hear this: no judgment here. These cases are my specialty, and they are the reason Steller Dog Training exists.

Behavior is communication. When you can finally hear what your dog is saying, everything starts to change.

Who You're Working With

I learned this work where it had to be right

I spent my Army years as a dog handler, working beside dogs whose reliability people's lives depended on. What that experience actually taught me runs against every tough-guy training cliché: the strongest working relationships were never built on force. They were built on trust, clear communication, and a handler who understood the dog at the other end of the leash.

That's what I brought home to Fort Worth. Today I run Steller Dog Training and continue my education under Will Bangura, MS, CAB-ICB, one of the country's leading behavior consultants. I work with everyday family dogs: the pullers, the barkers, the anxious ones, the puppies running the household.

More About Jordan
How It Works

No forms. No funnels. Just a conversation.

1

Text or call

Tell me what's going on with your dog, in your own words. A sentence or two is plenty. I answer both myself, usually the same day.

2

We talk it through, free

I'll ask a few questions and give you my honest read, including what you can try on your own. If I don't think you need a trainer, I'll tell you that too.

3

A plan for your actual dog

Training built around your dog, your home, and your life. In-home sessions across Fort Worth and all of DFW, where the problems really happen.

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Or start on your own with three things you can try today.

"Before working with Jordan, we were in a really tough spot with our dog Lexi. She had attacked a neighbor's dog and had bitten multiple people, and we felt completely overwhelmed and honestly a little hopeless. Jordan came in with zero judgment and immediately gave us direction."

"Leash walking was a nightmare. Jordan actually understood what was going on with him instead of just trying to force compliance. He explained why Yuki was responding the way he was, which honestly helped me understand my own dog better. He's actually manageable now and making progress with other people too."

Honest Expectations

What I promise, and what I don't

I don't sell miracle turnarounds, and I won't promise a "fixed" dog by Friday. Real behavior change is a process, and anyone who guarantees results is selling you something. What I do promise: an honest read on your dog, a plan grounded in behavior science, that I will never use fear or pain as training tools, and my full attention until you can handle what used to feel impossible.

Dogs with bite histories are welcome here. Muzzle-trained dogs are welcome here. If your dog has a bite history, tell me before we meet so I can plan the first visit safely. And when a case needs veterinary support, I work with your vet instead of pretending to replace them. Transparent pricing lives on the Training Packages page. Serving Fort Worth, Keller, Southlake, Arlington, Mansfield, and the greater DFW metro.

Whenever You're Ready

Tell me what's going on with your dog

One text is enough to get started. Worst case, you get free advice from a professional trainer. Best case, this is the day things start getting better for both of you.
